Project Update : Shakugan no Shana Audio Drama

So, I’ve finally finished translating the first audio drama. It is now under QC and maybe some final clean-up by another Anime-RG staff. So expect it to be released soon (It should be someday around this week or next week). Next is the second audio drama. Since I’m also working on the translation of Kono Aozora no Yakusoku o anime, the second audio drama might takes longer to be released than the first.

Another OST of Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku o, this time the opening theme, a song with the same title as the anime. As a note, the 物語 is read as SUTOORII in this lyrics instead of monogatari.

Let’s see, first, I’ve passed the japanese test of animelyrics.com so I’ll be in the primary waiting queue when I submitted the lyrics and/or translation of a song. I’ll probably post the lyrics/translation here first before submiting it to anymelyrics.com. Second, I’ve taken up the role of translator for Kono Aozora Yakusoku O Ep. 5, and maybe until the last episode. This Anime-RG project has been neglected for quite a while since the translator has gone MIA, and the other translators have gone MIH (Missing In Holiday). Third, for those who’re waiting for the Shakugan no Shana audio drama fansub, just wait a little bit more, just 5 more line to go, and also the proofreading, then I’ll release it. Won’t be more than 2 weeks before the release. Why 2 weeks? Because I’m rather busy this week, so I’ll probably don’t have the time for proofreading the script.

Song : Shounen Onmyouji OP – Egao no Wake

Because I don’t have the original lyrics (the one that is usually included in the CD), for this song, and also future songs with the same circumstance, I only included the romaji and the English translation. I chose to do that because I don’t want to guess the kanji used in the original lyrics. In an original lyrics, it’s not odd to see a kanji which has a different way of reading than what i should. For example 理由 should be read as riyuu, but in a lyrics it may be changed to wake (with a furigana written above the kanji characters), or　暗闇 which should be read as kurayami is read as yami instead.

Song : KOKIA’s Tatta Hitotsu no Omoi

I finally found the song that I’ve been looking for, for almost 2 weeks. The first time I heard the song was two weeks ago when I tune in to AnimeNFO radio. They played part of the song every once in a while. Somehow, even though that was the first time I heard it, the song felt very nostalgic. The song turns out to be the opening theme song of Gunslinger Girl II Teatrino, the sequel of Gunslinger Girl. I didn’t even now that Gunslinger Girl II was broadcasted since last April.
